Appointed Interim Class Counsel in "MyLife.com" Lawsuit On August 15, 2011, Judge Claudia Wilken of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California appointed Bursor & Fisher, P.A. to serve as Interim Class Counsel in Clerkin v. MyLife, Inc. to represent a proposed worldwide class of people who purchased services from www.mylife.com. The lawsuit alleges that MyLife.com is a scam that involves false solicitations telling potential victims that "someone" is searching for them and they can find out who by paying a small fee. The plaintiffs also assert that MyLife overbills its victims and hacks into their address books to target their friends, family and other contacts with spam solicitations.
