Class Certification Granted in Bell + Howell Lawsuit

On July 7, 2017, Judge William H. Pauley III of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York granted a motion to certify a nationwide class of purchasers of Bell + Howell Ultrasonic Pest Repellers. Judge Pauley also appointed Bursor & Fisher, P.A. as class counsel to represent the millions of Repeller purchasers.

The case involves claims that Bell + Howell Ultrasonic Pest Repellers are worthless and ineffective to repel pests.

“Judge Pauley’s order certifying the class is a huge victory for the millions of people who purchased this defective product” said Yitzchak Kopel, one of the firm’s attorneys handling the matter. “We are eager to advance the case to trial and prove our claims on behalf of our clients and the class they represent.”
