Payment Sent to Playboy Class Members

On September 16, 2020, payments were sent to class members as part of the $3.85 million settlement in Kokoszki v. Playboy Enterprises, Inc. The settlement was approved by Judge Bernard A. Friedman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on August 19, 2020, and provides for cash payments to class members of approximately $110 each.

“We are thrilled that the settlement proceeds are being distributed,” said Philip L. Fraietta, one of the firm’s partners handling the matter. “This is a terrific result that will put real money into the pockets of Playboy magazine subscribers.”
