Scott A. Bursor has focused his practice in complex civil litigation and class actions. Class actions rarely go to trial. Scott tried five class action cases to juries, and won all five, achieving awards ranging from $21 million to $299 million.
Scott graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1996. He was on the Editorial Board of the Law Review, and was a member of the Board of Advocates and Order of the Coif. Prior to founding his own firm, Scott was a litigator at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he represented large telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and technology companies in commercial litigation.
Scott is a member of the state bars of New York, Florida, and California, the bars of the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, Fourth, Sixth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits, and the bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, Southern District of Florida, Middle District of Florida, Northern District of California, Central District of California, Southern District of California, and Eastern District of California.
