LAW OFFICES OF SCOTT A. BURSOR is active in consumer, antitrust, class action, civil rights, and other complex litigation matters. Mr. Bursor has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in more than 70 lawsuits in state and federal courts throughout the country, primarily in the fields of telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and dietary supplements.
Mr. Bursor has an active civil trial practice, having won multi-million verdicts or recoveries in four of four civil jury trials since 2008. (II), in which the jury returned a $50 million verdict in favor of the plaintiff and class represented by Mr. Bursor.
Mr. Bursor graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1996. He was on the Editorial Board of the Law Review, and was a member of the Board of Advocates and Order of the Coif. Prior to starting his own practice, Mr. Bursor was associated with Cravath, Swaine & Moore (1996-2000) and Chadbourne & Parke LLP (2001), where he represented large telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and technology companies in commercial litigation.
Mr. Bursor is a member of the New York bar and the Florida bar, as well as the bars of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
