Mr. Bursor has an active civil trial practice, having won multi-million verdicts or recoveries in four of four civil jury trials since 2008. Mr. Bursor has an active class action practice and has won numerous appointments as class counsel to represent millions of Americans. Mr. Bursor has been appointed by courts to represent customers of Verizon Wireless, AT&T Wireless, Cingular Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile, as well as purchasers of Avacor™ and Xenadrine™ products
Mr. Bursor graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1996. He was on the Editorial Board of the Law Review, and was a member of the Board of Advocates and Order of the Coif. Prior to founding Law Offices of Scott A. Bursor in 2002, Mr. Bursor was associated with Cravath, Swaine & Moore (1996-2000) and Chadbourne & Parke LLP (2001), where he represented large telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and technology companies in commercial litigation.
Mr. Bursor is a member of the state bars of New York and Florida, the bars of the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third and Eleventh Circuits, and the bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, and Southern District of Florida.
